Ingredient X Entertainment was started in mid-1999 by Lev Yilmaz as an internet showcase for his years of work as an independent maker of subversive comedy shorts. The Ingredient X website has achieved popularity & acclaim with Lev's neurotic series 'TALES OF MERE EXISTENCE' which has been featured on AtomFilms and won 1st place in the 'Short Attention Span Film and Video Festival' in May 2000. JONATHAN JUDGE |
In July 2000, Jonathan Judge partnered with George Belshaw to create Judge-Belshaw Entertainment, a production company that creates and produces content for film, television and the internet. Since joining the industry in 1993, Judge has produced and directed and written numerous projects. He currently directs for the Emmy-nominated childrenâs show Blues Clues on Nickelodeon and his episodes include "Bugs," The Alphabet Train" and "Which Way do I Go?". Last year he created and wrote the pilot script for Shanahanâs Army, a 1/2 hour comedy for 20th Century Fox Studios and CBS. He is developing another 1/2 hour comedy with partner George Belshaw, Danny Jacobson (creator of Mad About You) and Industry Entertainment. Judge co-created the Actual Joke series for HBO and directed all 24 shorts of the series for their promo department (winner of the Grand Prize for Outstanding Television Promo or I.D. in the 2000 New York Festival of Festivals). He co-created and executive-produced the Urban Myths series for Hypnotic/Universal Studios and wrote and directed the first 3 short films in that series. Shorts from the series have sold to numerous companies around the world including TV Finland, Alliance Atlantis Broadcasting and the BBC. Currently, Judge is in production with the feature documentary, Food for Thought, following the Orphic artists Doug Fitch and Mimi Oka. Food for Thought has taken Judge to France, Japan, Montreal and New Mexico. Portions of the documentary have aired on the Food Network. His other documentary credits include Outward Bound for American Express and above and below: the making of an independent film for Ratchet Productions. Judge's films have played in numerous festivals, including the Aspen Comedy Festival, The New York Comedy Film Festival, the Shorts International Festival, Taos Talking Pictures and the IFP Docker's Independent Spirit Festival. As a producer/director he's brought his creativity to numerous industrial projects for American Express, Computer Associates and Ford. Coming from a heavily independent film background, Judge has held every position in production on films including Trees Lounge, Beautiful Girls, Flirting with Disaster, Kiss Me, Guido and the First Wivesâ Club. In 1997, Judge created The Reel Schoolú, a highly successful program that affords aspiring filmmakers the opportunity to learn advanced independent film production techniques from such established filmmakers as Tom DiCillo and Steve Buscemi. Judge served as director of the school. |

Paul Sullivan |
Paul Sullivan has produced for "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Comedy Central. As an independent producer and director, Paul's videos have been seen across the country as well as Mexico and Italy in such festivals as the New York Comedy Film Festival and the CMJ Music and Film Festival. As a stand up comedian, Paul has performed up and down the East Coast and was a semifinalist in Comedy Central's Laff Riots competition. He has also hosted shows on The Burly Bear Network, MaxBaseball.com and was the voice of an animated character on Oxygen Media. The award for "Best Comedy Short" at the Da Vinci Film and Video Festival in Corvallis Oregon is named after Paul. Paul is co producing the video night for The HA! Comedy Fest. |
